This game is the fifth inclusion in the series of God of War, which ranks seventh in chronological order and last one in the Greek era franchise. It is also a sequel to the God of War-2 released in the year 2007. It is somewhat constructed on the theme of Greek Mythology and is set in the ancient period of Greece. The only motive of this game is revenge. 

What is God of War-3 about?

The protagonist is controlled by the players and Kratos, who is considered as an earlier God of wars after he was betrayed by Zeus, his father, and the King of Olympian Gods. It provided ignition to the Great War, in which Mount Olympus was ascended by Kratos till he gets abandonment from Titan Gaia. Gameplay 

The gameplay of this game is the same as that of the earlier editions, aiming at the combat based on a combo with the help of the main weapon of the players which are the Blades of Exile and the secondary weapons gained throughout the game. There are several relics in the game like the rage of Sparta, Poseidon’s Trident, Icarus Wings, Boreas’ Icestorm. Rage of Sparta is a new rage modal used by Kratos. It is similar to the Rage of Titans and Rage of Gods from the former editions of the game series.

The heavenly Possessions are also known as godly possessions. These are magical things that were once dedicated to the gods and now can be discovered concealed in different places in the game series. Once these things are found they can be utilized while you play it at the second attempt. Such possessions include Aphrodite’s Garter, Hephaestus’ Ring, Hera’s Chalice, Hades Helm, etc.  There were critical acclamations of the God of War-3 when it was launched, with a reviewer known as IGN which mentioned the redefinition of scaling in the video games.
